Buying and payment
Can I pay with a bank card?
No. Catallaxy takes no bank cards, no fiat, no bank transfers and no payment processor of any kind. Payment is on-chain, on the TON network only.
What can I pay with?
TON, GRAM, or USDT as a jetton on TON. All three are paid on the TON network itself: TON is the network's own coin, while USDT and GRAM are tokens issued on that network.
Which network do I send USDT on, and what if I use the wrong one?
USDT must be sent as the TON jetton, on the TON network. USDT sent on TRC-20 (Tron) or ERC-20 (Ethereum) will not credit your order: such a transfer cannot be matched to an order and is not covered by the automatic refund process. Check the network in your wallet before you send, and if you have already sent on the wrong network, message the support bot at https://t.me/catallaxy_support_bot.
Which wallets can I pay from?
Any TON wallet. Tonkeeper, MyTonWallet and the Telegram Wallet all work, and you can also scan the invoice QR code from another device and pay from a wallet there.
Do I need an account or a connected wallet to buy?
No. A purchase can be completed by paying the QR code or deep-link invoice, with no registration, no account and no wallet connection. Connecting a wallet is optional and only signs you in so you can see order history, use the chat and leave reviews.
How does the site know which order my payment belongs to?
Each invoice carries a payload that the payment transaction must include, and that is what matches your payment to your order. Pay by scanning the invoice QR code or opening its link rather than typing the address and amount by hand, and do not send from an exchange or any service that drops the payload, or the transfer arrives without it and the order is not matched.
KYC and privacy
Do I have to verify my identity or pass KYC?
No. Catallaxy runs no identity verification at any level, for buyers or for sellers, none is requested today and none is planned. No documents, no selfies, no name, no address, no date of birth, and a refund never requires identity documents either.
Do you need my email, phone number or real name?
No. There is no registration form, and no email address, phone number, postal address or bank data is collected anywhere on the service. The only identifier we hold for a buyer is a TON wallet address, and you can buy without even connecting one.
What do you actually know about me?
For a signed-in user: your TON wallet address, plus a display name and avatar only if you set them yourself. Alongside that we keep your order records (the listing, the on-chain transaction hash, the payment nonce, status, amount, and the text sent to and returned by the seller's agent), your chat messages with sellers, and any review you leave. Visitor counting stores a keyed hash of IP plus browser user agent instead of the IP itself, though standard web server access logs, which do include IP, exist.
Do you screen wallets, run AML checks or sanctions screening?
No. There is no AML questionnaire, no source-of-funds request, no transaction-monitoring vendor, no chain-analytics screening and no sanctions screening of buyers.
Is my purchase private?
Not from the blockchain's point of view. Payments and refunds happen on the TON network, so the wallet address you pay from, the amounts and the timing are permanently public and can be observed by anyone watching the chain. What Catallaxy itself stores is minimal, but nothing can make an on-chain payment private after the fact, so use a wallet whose history you are comfortable exposing.
Do you use analytics or trackers?
One third party: Telegram Mini Apps Analytics, the standard usage analytics for Telegram Mini Apps, which reports session and usage events to tganalytics.xyz and keeps its own cookies and browser storage. Inside Telegram that includes what Telegram hands every Mini App about the session, such as the Telegram user id, username, language and platform, plus wallet connection and transaction events. Apart from it there is no ad or analytics vendor here: no Google Analytics, no Meta pixel, no Plausible, no PostHog, no Sentry, and our own visitor counting stores no raw IP. The privacy policy describes all of it.
What could you hand over if you were legally compelled?
Only what exists: wallet addresses, order records with their on-chain transaction hashes, buyer-seller chat messages, reviews, ban records and web server access logs. There are no identity documents, emails or phone numbers to hand over, because they are never collected. We do not publish a warrant canary and we do not promise to resist a lawful demand.
Delivery
How is my item delivered, and how long does it take?
Delivery is done by the seller's own agent once your payment is confirmed on the TON network, and the result appears on your order page. Most listings are fulfilled automatically by that agent, while some need the seller to act on the order. Catallaxy does not promise a fixed delivery time, and if a delivery job fails the order is refunded on-chain automatically.
I paid by QR without connecting a wallet. Where does my item appear?
On the same order page you paid from, so keep it open. The invoice carries a countdown; if it runs out you can regenerate it, and if you have already sent the payment there is a button to confirm that so the order can be matched. Without a connected wallet there is no order history to come back to, so save the code, file or text you are given.
What form does the item arrive in?
Depending on the listing: a one-time redeem code, a file, a text payload, or a credit applied directly to a player ID or username (UID) that you enter when ordering.
Will I have to give anyone my account password?
The normal flow never asks for your account password. Listings that genuinely need account credentials are the exception and must say so on the listing card before you buy. If a listing does not say so and a seller asks you for a password, do not give it and report it to the support bot at https://t.me/catallaxy_support_bot.
Who can see what I type into an order?
Everything you type into an order is passed to the seller's agent so it can fulfil the order, and your messages in the order chat are readable by that seller. Sellers are independent third parties, so do not put anything in there that you would not want a stranger to hold.
What happens if the item is out of stock or delivery fails?
You are refunded automatically. If the item is out of stock, the delivery job fails, or your payment cannot be verified, the agent sends the funds back on-chain to the address you paid from, with no ticket or request from you.
Refunds, guarantees and disputes
How do I request a refund?
For an order that could not be fulfilled, you do not have to: the refund is automatic and on-chain, with no ticket, no request and no form. If the order was delivered but the goods do not work, open the chat on the order page inside the 24-hour guarantee window, or message the support bot at https://t.me/catallaxy_support_bot.
Where does the refund go, and how long does it take?
It goes back on-chain to the exact address you paid from, so it reaches you whether or not you have an account. Automatic refunds normally land within minutes: a background worker retries roughly every 60 seconds for up to about 10 attempts and never sends the same refund twice. A TON network or node outage can delay one.
Do I get back the full amount?
Almost. An on-chain refund costs network gas, which is deducted from the amount sent back and is on the order of 0.0005 TON. Apart from that fee you receive the full amount you paid.
What does the 24-hour guarantee cover?
For 24 hours after delivery, a product that does not work gets a refund or a replacement: a dead code, a credit that never arrives, or a delivery that does not match the listing. On hosted listings the seller's funds stay locked for that whole window, which is what makes the guarantee enforceable.
The code looks wrong. Should I try redeeming it to check?
No, do not redeem it. Open the chat on your order page first and say what is wrong, because a code that has already been redeemed or activated can no longer be refunded or replaced.
I already redeemed a code and it turned out to be bad. Can I still get a refund?
No. Once a one-time code has been redeemed or activated it is not refundable, even inside the 24-hour window. This is why a suspect code should be raised in the order chat before you try it anywhere.
How do I open a dispute, and who decides it?
Open it in the chat on the order page, or message the support bot at https://t.me/catallaxy_support_bot. On hosted listings Catallaxy decides the outcome, because it is holding the money. On self-hosted listings it can mediate, and can delist or ban an agent, but it cannot move funds it never held.
What does hosted or self-hosted mean, and does it change my protection?
A hosted listing runs on Catallaxy infrastructure: we hold your payment in escrow, so we can refund you and decide a dispute. A self-hosted listing runs on the seller's own hardware: we never hold the funds, there is no escrow, and although the payment protocol enforces the flow programmatically, a seller can modify code running on their own machine. Today every listing on ctlx.cc is hosted by us, so every order is escrowed; self-hosting is an option open to sellers. If you want to confirm how a particular listing is hosted before you pay, ask support.
Sellers
How do I start selling on Catallaxy?
Start with the seller bot at https://t.me/ctlx_seller_bot. There is no company check, no identity verification and no documents: sellers go through no KYC either. You list, price and deliver your own goods, and Catallaxy runs the storefront and the payment rails.
How and when do I get paid?
Payouts are currently processed manually by the operator, so they are not instant. On hosted listings the money for an order is locked during the 24-hour guarantee window after delivery and becomes payable once that window passes.
Can you freeze my money?
The operator's policy is that seller funds are not frozen unless the seller is scamming. The hold during the 24-hour guarantee window on hosted listings is the normal flow for every order, not a freeze.
Can I run my agent on my own server instead?
Yes. In self-hosted mode your agent runs on your own infrastructure, and Catallaxy then does not hold the funds and provides no escrow for your listings. Buyers get less protection there, and that is disclosed to them, so expect it to affect how they treat the listing.
What am I not allowed to sell?
Only legal digital goods you have the right to sell. No stolen, carded or otherwise fraudulently obtained codes or accounts, no malware, and nothing that is illegal to distribute. Listings can be delisted and agents or wallets banned for fraud or abuse, with the reason recorded.
About the service
Who runs Catallaxy?
An independent developer. There is no registered company behind it, no corporate entity and no stated jurisdiction. It has been running publicly since 10 March 2026 and is still early-stage, so features and policies can change; changes are announced in the channel at https://t.me/catallaxy_ton. It is reachable on the open web at https://ctlx.cc and as a Telegram Mini App via @catallaxy_bot.
Is Catallaxy open source?
Partially. The underlying payment-agent protocol, the sidecar and ton-agents-marketplace standard, is open source, while the marketplace application itself is closed.
Is there a public API?
No. There is no public API.
Does the site work without JavaScript?
Product pages are server-rendered and can be read without JavaScript, but you need JavaScript enabled to complete a purchase. The site works both on the open web and inside Telegram.
How do I reach a human?
Three ways: the chat on your order page, which reaches the seller directly; the support bot at https://t.me/catallaxy_support_bot; or email catallaxy_ton@proton.me. Support is one operator working on a best-effort basis, with no guaranteed response time.
